30 NOVEMBER 2015 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® In Memoriam Ronald R. “Ron” Johnson (1941~2015) With great sadness, the California Groundwater Association (CGA) noted the September 12, 2015, pass- ing of Ronald R. “Ron” Johnson. After graduating from Escondido High School in 1959, he worked in the family business, National Quarries. In 1976, he started Johnson Pump Service where he worked until recently. Along his journey, Ron enjoyed collecting and polishing rocks, fishing, boating, dune buggying, traveling, and camping with family and friends. His day always started with his band of coffee shop buddies. He was a member of the CGA, Consuelo Lodge, Escondido Moose Lodge, and Las Ramadas Camping Club. Ron is survived by wife Shirley; daughters Sheryl (Ralph) and Susan (David); sons Randy (Michelle) and Michael; ten grand- children, and five great-grandchildren.
