Work ng w th Tosh ba w a ow ODDEG to draw on Tosh ba's capab - t es as one of the wor d's argest prov ders of geotherma energy equ pment. The company w a so ass st w th the creat on of gu de nes for p ant operat on and management, the deve opment and supp y of generat on systems, and sup- port n tra n ng personne to operate p ants. Dj bout current y has an nsta ed generat on capac ty of 120 megawatts, most y from therma power, and has to supp ement th s w th power mports from Eth op a. However, many s tes n Dj bout are su tab e for geo- therma power generat on, and current p ans nc ude construct ng geotherma power stat ons w th a base capac ty of about 50 megawatts.
