Publisher’s personal note: Several years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Len and Joanne, when he became the NGWA President, one of the hardest working and traveling couples I have had the pleasure of photographing. Joanne was so very proud of his hard work, she wanted a pictoral history of his many feats that year. I was honored to have been selected. I fondly remember one such trip, Mountain States Ground Water event in Laughlin, Nevada, when my husband Al and I were in attendance. Al was trying to figure out where to go during some of the seminars, and upon deciding to take the river tour to see the London Bridge, he became very dis- appointed as they had canceled the trip on the Colorado River due to high winds. Len and Joanne had elected to take their car (smart move) and make the trip up there where they saw all kinds of animals and the famed London Bridge. They had a lot to tell Al about it. So it was almost as good as seeing it in person. It’s hard to say goodbye to Len. I extend my personal, as well as each member of the WWDR Team’s, heartfelt sympathy to Joanne and Len’s family and friends. God Bless, Veronica I. “Ronnie” Jones. Peter Gibson Creighton (1956~2016) Peter Gibson Creighton passed away in his 60th year on the morning of July 27, 2016, from injuries sustained on the job. He was a partner in the family business, Creighton Rock Drill Ltd. of Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, for over 25 years. He loved people, as was evidence by the way he lived his life. He was a part of many community activities: sat on the school council, was a member of the Streetsville Legion, helped run the Dad and Kids Fishing Derby for over 20 years, and participated in the Lakeview Waterfront Connection. In business, he could al- ways be relied upon to solve any problem and make sure his customers were completely satisfied. He also had an interest in politics, and even ran to be a member of parliament in the federal election. Peter is survived by his loving wife Linda; his children Christine (Devon), Stephanie (Mark), Philip, and Richard; his siblings Bob (Leanne), John (Angie), Susan (Bryan), Jim (Anne), Al (Kelly), and their families. He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Evelyn, and brother Will. The management and staff of WorldWide Drilling Resource ® extend their deepest sympathies to Peter’s family, friends, and colleagues. Lest we forget...
