Commitment to Excellence Adapted from Information by Boshart Industries Mel Boshart launched Boshart Industries out of his home in Crosshill, Ontario, Canada, doing pump installations and repairs for farm and residential uses in 1955. In 1970, Mel's son Gary joined the business. In 1983, the installation business was sold and the company moved to Wellesley, to focus on the wholesale business. Two years later, the Seal Well brand name was launched. The business quickly outgrew Wellesley and moved to Milverton in 1988. In the early 90s, the wholesale business was sold and Boshart Industries became a manufacturer and master distributor of quality water well and plumbing products. The manufacturing facility in Milverton produces: Poly, Nylon, & PVC Insert Fittings Sump Pump Check Valves Plastic Foot & Check Valves Cable Guards Plastic Air Volume Controls Yard Hydrants Torque Arrestors Rubber Flexible Couplings Originating as an installation business, Boshart Industries has the knowledge and understanding of what the industry needs. The company stocks a broad range of competitively priced, quality products for the water well, plumbing, industrial, and irrigation markets, and offers customers a 97% fill rate. With global sales and a major focus in the North American market, the company continually grows their customer base.
