They require mined products. It’s not as far-fetched as you might think. Technology for one, would grind to a complete stop without mining, but it isn’t the only industry counting on this vital resource. Here are a few more sectors which rely on mining: Medical Fields Farmers Automotive Manufacturing Construction Computer Technology Aerospace Food Service Janitorial Electronics First Responders Telecommunications Pharmaceuticals and more! Think about it . . . Without mining we would have nothing made of stone or glass, metal, rubber, or plastic. No scalpels, crop / soil additives, tractors or any vehicle, processors, capacitors, silicon, dishes, hand or power tools, PVC, bulletproof vests, computers, telephones, solar pan- els, wind turbines, pipelines, the list is end- less.
