Ronnie’s Real World Winter is upon us in the United States of America. The snow starts falling beauti- fully in so many states. It is truly an awesome sight. We prepare for a month of giving to our family, friends, and yes even our employees who work so very hard each and every day for us and hopefully realizing they are doing that for themselves more so than for their employers. It’s a two-fold relationship. The employer provides a means for its employees, and the employees provide a reason for the means. So many of us in small and yes, even in large companies, have employees. Some who have been with us for many years, while some who have only been with us a short time. Those who know us, know how we think, why we think, and have grown to understand our reason for being and doing. Those who have chosen for whatever reason to not really know us, will never realize the why, the when, or even the how. We all want to believe in our employees - we trust them - some with everything we have - others with what they need to insure they can do their jobs comfortably and hap- pily. Every once in a great while, the employer/employee relationship fails for whatever reason, through no ones fault. It just happens. This results in either the employee leaving for greener pastures or the employer having to send the employee on their journey for hopefully greener pastures. Such it is that the snow falls, and just like the snow falling, employees leave us. As this month brings the snow to end this year, the snow shines brightly on the new year to come, with all its hopes and aspirations, giving us the faith to carry on and do what we enjoy most. Ronnie’s Real World wishes each of our “family” here at WorldWide Drilling Resource, Inc. a very Merry Christmas and the brightest of New Years in 2018. The real secret to success is enthusiasm.
