Make Sure Your Customers Have Constant Water Adapted from Information by Constant Water It’s that time of year again, hurricane and storm season is upon us. Are your customers storm ready? What happens when they lose electricity? If they are like most water well owners, they also lose access to their water supply when the power goes out. Constant Water can help. The Constant Water system activates automatically when the power goes out, providing 40 gallons of pressurized water (up to 120 gallons with additional tanks), using a rechargeable, battery-powered control unit. Designed to use a small amount of space, the basic system con- sists of a water storage tank and a wall-mounted control unit. With the system’s in-line plumbing approach, the 40-gallon tanks are always full and the water is always fresh. It is a closed system, so airborne contaminants cannot come in contact with the stored water. Once plumbed into a home or building's existing water line, the system can provide pressurized water throughout the building - every sink, toilet, shower, and tub. When power is restored, the system automatically resets, recharges, refills, and is ready for the next outage. The system offers benefits to the well drilling professionals as well. First, it is a new and needed product which can be added at the initial installation of a well, or retrofitted into existing homes. It solves a known problem expe- rienced by every well owner. “Every well user will experience power failure and/or failure of the well pump. It’s just a matter of time,” said Judd Walls, founder and CEO of the company. “Constant Water reduces the ‘emergency’ of both of these events.” Second, it gives service providers an opportunity to call existing customers and offer them a new product to solve a known problem. “Whenever you can fol- low up with your existing customer base, you have an opportunity to meet a need and be recognized as a company that keeps up with important technology,” Walls stated. Lastly, it’s an opportunity to differen- tiate your service from your competition. Explaining both the benefits and limita- tions of a water well to customers builds their trust in you. Providing a solution to the challenges they experience demon- strates your concern for them. An 80-gallon configuration with two tanks.
