This month is sponsored by Shakti Pumps USA LLC Have you ever been changing a coolant hose on a vehicle or equipment, and the only hose clamp you have is broken? If you have some baling wire (heavy-gauge, single-strand wire), cut a piece long enough to make a big circle (about 2-1/2 times the circumference of the hose). Take the two ends and twist them together - 3 or 4 twists should be enough. Take the big circle and bring both sides together to make a half moon. Then wrap it around the hose, folding both ends up parallel to each other so you can take a screwdriver or some type of pointed object and twist until tight (don't overtighten). Now, pull screwdriver out. It should hold until you can get a new hose clamp. Sent from my iPhone Hmmm . . .
