13 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® OCTOBER 2017 Merrill Manufacturing adds New Pitless Business Merrill Manufacturing has announced the acquisition of H2Optimal, a pitless unit business for the U.S. professional groundwater market. The H2Optimal product line provides a patented all-in-one solu- tion for total control at the water well. These unique systems not only have built-in pressure tanks, they also allow for mounting of constant pressure variable frequency drives within the unit. This significantly simplifies and reduces costs for installation and repair, making it a must-have for water well installations. All units are easy to service from the top of the well and no interior space is required. Pressure tank sizes range from 2.1 to 8.6 gallons.
