35 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® OCTOBER 2017 In Memoriam Joseph “Joe”Scribellito, Jr. (1958~2017) With deep regret and sadness, the National Dri l l ing Association (NDA) informed of the unexpected passing of the president of NDA’s Mid-At lant ic Chapter, Joseph “Joe” Scribellito, Jr., on August 18, 2017, as the result of a vehicle accident. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Joe graduated high school in 1976, then started working at Reliable Pump and Well, his father’s drilling company. He took over the business when his dad retired, then after the company closed, he worked at several places for a few years, from New Jersey to South Carolina. He finally settled in Maryland, where in 1999, started Free State Drilling, Inc. In May, Joe opened the doors of his Walkersville shop for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter’s Spring Training 2017 event, featuring several seminars and field demonstrations. The round table discussion included the NDA Drilling Safety Guide , tailgate safety meetings, and near misses. Joe is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cheryl; son Joseph (Julia); daughter Danielle (Rob); six grandchildren, and extended family. The management and staff of WWDR extend their condolences to Joe’s family, friends, and colleagues. Lest we forget... LINDER is now the exclusive importer and primary distributor for all ATLAS products (except cranes) in the u.S. market. Products will be sold through authorized ATLAS representatives. Th i s de a l w i l l a l l ow f o r f u l l distribution of ATLAS products through dealers, as well as some direct sales. Based out of Florida, LINDER is one of the largest equipment distributors in NorthAmerica, with 18 locations covering the Southeastern u.S. market.
