13 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® JANUARY 2018 Atlas Copco Reintroduces its Grouting Product Line Atlas Copco listened to customer feedback and has decided to reintroduce its proven, reliable, and efficient line of grouting equipment, starting with Unigrout Flex M. “Unigrout Flex M is all about simplicity and efficiency from an operational perspective; easy to move, operate, and service,” said Brandi Pietsch, global product manager for Meyco concrete spraying and grouting equipment at Atlas Copco. Unigrout Flex M is a flexible, easy- to-mobilize grouting platform which consists of a mixer, agitator, and injection pump. All controls are easy to reach. It is capable of covering a wide range of pressures, allowing users to work with various materials and mix designs for tunneling, mining, rock and solid reinforcement, micropiling, and hydropower applications. “Unigrout Flex M is the first product from the grouting portfolio to be reintroduced to the market, and we plan to add more products to the portfolio throughout 2018,” added Pietsch. WHO’S IN THE NEWS Diedrich Drill announced Brian Siwinski has been hired as drilling specialist - safety/operations/application. He brings more than 33 years of experience including drilling operations, managing drilling services, and contract administration, as well as extensive experience as an end user of the Diedrich Drill rigs and tooling. Brian will support Diedrich customers before, during, and after the sale through safety trainings and operational instructions, as well as insight about tackling tough field applications.
