Mark your calendar for February 14- 15. Concurrent classes for continuing education credits will be held both days, so there’s plenty of time to sit in on them all! The trade show grand opening is Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., and the banquet and auction starts at 6:00 p.m. The general meeting with breakfast is Thursday, and the exhibits open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 2:00 p.m. More information at www.vawaterwellassociation.org Montana Water Well Drillers (MWWDA) Association’s 73 rd Annual Convention and Trade Show is set for February 7-9, at the Best Western Plus Heritage Inn in Great Falls, Montana. Wednesday is exhibitor and silent auction setup day, along with early registration, and the MWWDA-hosted hospitality room. Then Thursday has registration, silent auction, seminars, annual meeting, and lunch. This is followed by the trade show, cocktails, more food, and a live auction! The ladies auxiliary will meet on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. for a fun morning of painting at a studio. Friday’s schedule has more continuing education opportunities, Past Presidents meeting, and Board of Directors meeting. Continuing education seminars run all day, followed by the reception in the exhibit hall at 5:30 p.m. with the Buck Lively Scholarship Auction and Raffle. Join WWDR WDR The Michigan Ground Water Association (MGWA) will hold an Educational Conference February 26-27, at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Traverse City, Michigan. There will be combined fundamentals, MGWA education tracks, along with the McEllhiney lecture. Tabletop displays from presenters will be avail- able for viewing. North America was the leading regional portion accounting for over 25% in 2016, and is expected to continue this trend over the forecast period. Asia Pacific is projected to become the fastest consumer with a growth rate of 4.6% through 2025. Russia’s onshore drilling fluids industry in 2016, was valued at $627.5 million. It is likely to continue to grow by 2.8% by 2025.
