With 500 Dutch family companies registered for this prestigious award, to be named as one of the ten finalists is exciting. Later this spring, a professional jury will select the winner. Foundation Familie Onderneming grants the Family Business Award every year to an excellent family business from the Netherlands. The foundation, founded in 2012 by entrepreneur John Fentener van Vlissingen, is dedicated to supporting Dutch family businesses. In addition to meeting the prerequisite of being a real family business, the nominated companies are judged under eight criteria, including growth, innovation, internationalization, and social involvement.
