A Lot Going on in Indiana by Ed Moranski, Chief Marketing Officer WorldWide Drilling Resource ® A road trip is not compete without a little fun and adventure. On my way to the Indiana Ground Water Association event last November, this part of the WWDR Team made a few stops. Pulliam Enterprises, located in Mishawaka, Indiana, has been designing and manufacturing PullRite hitches for over 30 years. You might want to check them out. Mark Rothwell, CEO at Diedrich Drill, located in La Porte, gave a warm welcome and tour of the facility. It was a great opportunity to see first- hand the process of how the Diedrich machines are made. Mark also intro- duced me to some of the talented team involved in producing the equipment. Next stop was Vanair Manufacturing in Michigan City. It was nice to meet Sara Tilden. She gave some insights of the operation and what goes on there. I remember when Sullivan-Palatek was located in Claremont, New Hampshire. I got to see their facility in Michigan City, and it is quite the place. Dave Raffin and I caught up on what has tran- spired through the years. They service many industries. I finally arrived at the location of the Indiana Ground Water Association’s 2018 Convention & Trade Show - the Blue Chip Casino Hotel & Spa in Michigan City. It was a lot of driving, and I was glad to reach my destination. The exhibit hall was filled to capacity with manufacturers and regional reps anxious to display their products and information. There were many great door prizes and items in the silent auction. The educa- tional seminars, general sessions, and meetings were packed solid with attendees. The ride home was long, rainy, and windy - change of seasons was coming - time to get ready for winter.
