Certainty is perfect knowledge that has total security from error, or the mental state of being without doubt. (Wikipedia) Synonyms: assurance, sureness, trust, confidence, conviction, belief, choice, thought. Have you ever experienced knowing someone who was capable of making a snap decision; who could make an instant decision on any concern? Or someone who could make many decisions simultaneously...never chang- ing their mind...confident the decision made was thoughtful and resulted in assured professionalism? Why is certainty important? Certainty is a creative force. This allows one to become more secure while developing latent abilities. Becoming more creative, resulting in a new flair of existing talents. What is uncertainty? Uncertainty (uncertainty.com) tries to make sense of chance, risk, luck, and probability. Synonyms: anxiety, paranoia, wari- ness, misgivings, unbelief, distrust. Have you ever experienced know- ing someone who could not make a decision; who could not decide on even nonessential matters? Or someone who having made a choice...changed their mind? Confusion abounds? Why is uncertainty important? It causes one to question, seek new truth, and change realities. Which of these attributes describe you? Which serves as your reality? How does one find certainty in an uncertain world? Constancy and certainty are espe- cially important if an individual is insecure or not yet mature. Equally, it is impor- tant to each individual within a marriage, in a working relationship. One is required to observe SELF as there are limited options in a working environment. An honest evaluation of either of the above qualities, working or living with someone who is extremely certain to a fault drives one to distraction, while the same is true regarding someone who is extremely uncertain. But when these qualities are balanced...brilliance! So, what are the solutions? Review previous Your View articles. Whichever category you identify with, be absolutely honest and question your influence on others around you. Examine what your beliefs are. What is the result of your thoughts regarding those beliefs upon each life experience? Respect for oth- ers...is it more important than being right? Do you allow others to speak their truth? What about hope, grace, belief systems? More importantly, express the impor- tance of each person daily and what they mean in your life. Very simply, just focusing with this idea of SELF and what impact this has on those around you can help you choose a new reality that transforms your truths...a NEWYOU!
