It would seem if anyone could real- ly do this, the person would be in great demand. I have spent a lifetime, it seems, teaching myself to be able to do this. My father was a drilling contractor and we found our own way of detecting all the fluids. Water was the first one we learned to find. We were well known for it, so much people came from around the world to talk to us in Lexington, Nebraska (the center of the states), and it was just for water detection in the 1950s. Can you imagine the reaction I got when, after years of research on each of the other fluids, finding oil was sec- ond, finding saltwater was third, natural gas was fourth, finding sulphur fifth, and hot water was sixth? Each one of these was a major step in learning for me as I did almost all of this research by myself. I had no teachers and still do not know anyone who can do all of these. As I said, my father was a drilling contractor, my brother was a geologist, and we never wanted to drill a dry well of any kind. So we studied and invented ways to do better. We built our own drill rigs and equipment. Drill manufacturing companies came to study the equip- ment - the drill itself, some of the bits, and pond slurry/mud pumps. We used to have a vacuum pump to pull water out of our pit to prime the pump every time a drill stem was added. People came to learn - those from different com- panies and those just interested, like others in the drilling business. So, who can do it all? Probably no one, unless they have been studying their own work for years. I know I have done years of research. I spent a lot of years as a drilling contractor and I still don’t know it all. I am studying depth detection, and have been for some time. The statements and comments in this article are based on information and references believed to be true and factual.
