The IC Pump Station control unit Model 30, when used with a variable frequency drive, will not allow the pump to cavitate, even if the pump intake is fully plugged. It does this without flow meters or motor amperage probes. P2FlowLLC developed the IC Pump Station control unit with a “learn” mode. When selected, it compiles data about pump operation when it is working cor- rectly, and stores it in memory. When the “learn” mode is off, the stored data is constantly compared with the current pump operation data. If there is a signif- icant variance, the pump motor is slowed or even stopped before cavitation can occur. Features: 0 Low- and high-pressure safety shutoffs. 0 Hour meters and cycle counters. 0 Energy saving. Cavitation makes a pump very inefficient. No cavitation means the pump will run at peak effi- ciency at all times. 0 The IC Pump Station control unit can also sense the plugging of filters and be used to trigger a flush cycle, com- plete with timers and flush cycle counters.
