WorldWide Drilling Resource

Water/Gas Exploration by Harold White Looking for a water well site, I found a big salt creek in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Sometimes I find hot water, but oil or gas creeks are the usual. We always do a full reading on the different ener- gies caused by moving fluid so we know what we are drilling into. If we want water, we do not want to be mislead by something else. This is how I got started finding oil and gas creeks. Our water well drilling company was missing some irrigation wells to a then unknown energy. This was in Lexington, Nebraska. The closest oil wells were in Kansas, so we went there for research. The oil is traveling in creeks and gives us about the same signal. When we discovered the differ- ence, we stopped missing. (This was around 1953.) Then we got an unex- pected lift. An Omaha, Nebraska, world newspaper and television news picked up on the story, and we became known worldwide. Now I live in Eugene, Oregon, doing water, oil, gas, and hot water locating. It seems like all kinds of things have been used to find water, and a lot of different methods of using them. The people who use these methods all claim, for them, their method is the best. I have a friend who uses various devices to find different things, even different fluids to find the fluid being looked for. They use a short tube full of that kind of fluid and they say this can only find this kind of fluid, and the same is done with ore or metals. If they want to find gold, they put gold on the pen- dulum, stick, wire, etc. Some use other methods. I am sure all methods use a little science and psychology. Hard work pays off sooner or later, but luck pays off now. Good luck. This WorldWide Drilling Resource ® helps. It has a world of information for the people around the world. People in well drilling who have this book really like it. I have heard a lot of compliments. The one I like most is: “I read this whole book from cover to cover every month, it is that good.” I have heard this a lot and am happy to have my part in it.
