Canada. The products are sold, shipped, and used around the world helping drill operators work smarter, not harder! The future of Rauch Manufacturing has already begun, with the second gen- eration of the Rauch family taking the reins. Future tool development and pro- totypes are at an all-time high. Keep your eyes open for new spinner make-up and break-out tools in the near future! Work Smarter ~ Not Harder Adapted from Information by Rauch Manufacturing, Inc. The first Rauch Spinner was devel- oped over 25 years ago when Vern Rauch was running Rauch Drilling, a small family-owned drilling company based in Templeton, California. Several years later, Rauch Drilling moved to central Idaho where long winters led to further development and eventual ly the beginning of Rauch Manufacturing, Inc. Years of drilling water wells without a spinner and with minimal staff to help share the workload is what convinced Vern there must be a better way. The first spinner wrench he built for himself was for his Gardner-Denver 15W. It had rollers made from worn out mud pump pistons and bicycle handle bars. It made life a little easier, however, it was several years afterwards that he was able to develop a tool he could market and sell to other drilling professionals. The spinning wrench made drilling safer, easier, and faster. All of these ben- efits of using a pipe spinner led to one thing - greater profits. Customers have said. “If I had to go back to the old way of using a chain wrench, I don’t think I could do it anymore.” Rauch Manufacturing remains a family-owned and -operated business. Although the company began serving the water well industry, they have ventured into the realm of the oil and gas industry with great success. Pneumatic and hydraulic spinners are available in a wide range of sizes from 1-20 inches. The company is proud to state the Rauch Spinner is made in the USAand the company holds patents in both theUSA and The original Rauch Spinner. )' ) % ) ' # *# $ ' : &4)1*4 *18*4
