One Source Adapted from Information by Boshart Industries Mel Boshart launched Boshart Industries out of his home in Crosshill, Ontario, Canada, doing pump installa- tions and repairs for farm and residential uses in 1955. In 1970, Mel's son Gary joined the business. In 1983, the installation business was sold and the company moved to Wellesley to focus on the wholesale busi- ness. Two years later, the Seal Well brand name was launched. The business quick- ly out grew Wellesley and moved to Milverton in 1988. During the early 90s, the wholesale business was sold and Boshart Industries became a manufacturer and master dis- tributor of quality water well and plumbing products.
