Geoprobe ® sonic coring bits feature different carbide button config- urations, water channels for flushing cut- tings, and provisions for the use of core catchers [shown at left] to help retain material in the sampler. Team Geoprobe ® is constantly working to improve and refine bits for sonic applications. Made of 303 stainless or a high-strength, engineered composite material, the break-off plug allows for lighter lifting weight by allowing water to drain from the pipe after the plug is broken by drop- ping a smaller pipe down the inside diameter of the pipe. It eliminates water accumulating at the surface of a well, making for a clean and simple pull of riser pipe. Fabco Power’s new Hydro-Arc 7500 ® hydrauli- cally driven DC welder/AC generator operates AC tools, air compressors, lights, pumps, and more. It is compact and weighs just 165 pounds. The Hydro-Arc 7500 comes standard with a smooth and quiet, high- efficiency piston- type motor.
