Acting Secretary Abruzzo and more than 50 senior industry experts will judge this year’s awards entries. The Oil & Gas Awards celebrate companies which have achieved cor- porate success while fulfilling their responsibilities to the environment, main- taining the health and safety of their workers, and being committed to their corporate social responsibility to the communities they work in. Abruzzo served as a Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Corbett. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the activities of nearly 20 commonwealth agencies and commissions, among themDEP and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Abruzzo played a key role in developing and implementing several major initiatives at DEP. Mr. Abruzzo brings 20 years of public service experience to DEP. The 2nd Annual Oil & Gas Awards for the Northeast, Rocky Mountain, and Gulf Coast regions will be presented to the winners in March 2014 at the gala dinner Awards ceremonies in Pittsburgh, Denver, and Houston respectively.
