69 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® JANUARY 2014 GEFCO Training Class 2013 Through the Eyes of a Student...Part IV by Veronica I. “Ronnie” Jones Managing Publisher As I begin writing this article, the town of Enid, Oklahoma, brings into my mind, the severe weather this area of the country has had to deal with in 2013. Most recently, I saw the films of terrible sideways snowstorms ripping through the area. Earlier in the year you will remember the terrible tornadoes. Such devastation is unbelievable; and yet, they continue to push ever forward. Now, the numbers of trucks in that small town has increased two-fold if not more because of the oil drilling. That’s a plus for an area having to deal with such bad weather. And so, we know, life goes on. So must my continuing education at GEFCO ! But I say that with a smile :) . When last we saw, we had moved out into the shop. How excited we all were! Here is a photo of a n e w f o u n d friend, Qassas as he jumps right in and begins loos- ening bolts on the mud pump. You see, when you attend THIS school, you may get your hands dirty or, you may get a s h owe r you were notexpect- ing! Look a t t h e b u c k e t demon - s t ra t i on here.
