A graduate of Huntingdon High School and the Huntingdon County Vo-Tech with the class of 1974, D.R. was also a state wrestling champion. He owned and operated D.R. Eriksen Water Well Drilling and Pump Service since 1985, continuing the former Eriksen Brothers Well Drilling. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #223, Pennsylvania Ground Water Association, Huntingdon County Builder’s Association, Chamber of Commerce, and numerous racing associations. His childhood was spent helping his father at the Hesston Speedway, which he purchased and revitalized in 2010. D.R. is survived by his wife Cindy; brother Tom (Florabel); sister Carole (Stephen); several nieces, nephews, and other family.
