57 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® AUGUST 2015 Harry Edward Myers (1933~2015) The Arizona Water Well Association reported the passing of Harry Edward Myers on June 13, 2015. Born in Glendale, Arizona, he married Dixie Marie Pennington in 1952. During his working career, Harry owned and operated the water well and pump companies of Myers Western Pump, Chiricahua Pump, and K and M Pumps. He was also a minister who was devoted to his church and family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and flying his Bowers Fly Baby, which is the single-seat, open-cockpit, home- built plane. Harry is survived by wife Dixie; children Dennis (Debby), Danny (Theresa), Cheryl (Marty), Evelyn (Ted), and Diana (Jim); 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. James E. “Jim” Lange (1946~2015) The WorldWide Drilling Resource ® Team was saddened to learn of the passing of James E. “Jim” Lange on March 28, 2015. Jim was a 1964 graduate of LaPorte High School in Indiana. He received a mechanical engineering degree from Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute, and a master of science degree in industrial administration from Purdue Krannert School of Management. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. Since 1990, he was owner of Diedrich Drill, Inc., having previously been employed with Teledyne Casting Service for many years. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor. It is said he never knew a stranger and had a smile for everyone. He loved living in LaPorte, and it was important to him to show his appreciation of the people living and working there. His favorite pastimes were playing golf and fishing. Jim is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jean; daughters Jessica (James) and Allison; and grandsons Jamison and Jack. Lest we forget... In Memoriam
