Weatherford’s engineered chemistry business provides chem- ical treatments for oil and gas production and produced waters, as well as additives for drilling, workover, and stimulation operations. The company’s integrity drilling fluids business includes drilling fluid systems and additives for enhanced performance of drilling operations. Once the transaction is com- pleted, the engineered chemistry and integrity industries will become a new business segment called Lubrizol Oilfield Solutions. National Scholarship Program Available The American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) is offering up to four $1000 scholarships for undergraduate geological sci- ences majors who are at least sophomores attending a college or university in the U.S. The applicant must be either a student member of AIPG, or has applied for student membership at the time the scholarship applica- tion is submitted. Applications must be received by February 15, 2015.
