53 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® JANUARY 2015 Ronnie’s Real World Does time really heal all? I arrived back at my office after a trip to the bank, whenMichele told me I hadmissed a call. I had been calling the adver- tisers that morning to see if they want- ed their advertisement changed for the January issue of WorldWide . When I called that particular advertising company I realized low and behold that was the call I had missed. It wasn’t about advertising changes however, this was about the article I wrote last month about my husband’s accident and ensuing death. She was very saddened by it and was express- ing so dearly her feelings for me and my pain. You see, she too had lost her husband not long ago. Many of us lose loved ones every day due to illness or accidents, but no one really knows what “you” are going through because each individual has different feelings. That’s the way God intended it to be. She went on to tell me, she felt a closeness to this magazine because of the care and feeling we put into it and that no other publ ication can come close to that. Each issue is “easy to read”, were her exact words. And, in all honesty, it’s the only one she reads - the others are far too technical and don’t explain things like WorldWide does. As we talked, it was made known to me by her words and feelings, nO, time does nOT heal all. She said the longer the time, the harder it got for her. I understand her feelings completely. You may try to fool yourself, like I have, that it’s not really true, and things will be back to normalcy in your life. That person will one day walk right back through that door, or yell across the yard at you. Sadly, that is not true. We all are only here a short time, and we better make the best of the time we have. So smile, and make every day count! I am. Ronnie’s Real World! see you on the trail ...
