The newest addition to this fami ly of rigs is the SRS ML, which made its official debut in December 2014. SonicSampDri l l worked with its clients and a world-class team of engi- neers to design and manufacture the SRS ML. This attention to detail, com- bined with over 20 years of sonic drilling experience, has contributed to engineer- ing and delivering “the industry’s best and most reliable sonic solutions”. Drilling contractors know their clients need cost-effective solutions. The SRS ML offers an opportunity for contractors to efficiently perform sonic solutions on a small platform with high-quality cores and increased production. The SRS ML has a tight footprint that does not com- promise quality. It delivers relatively undisturbed samples in a short time frame. The rig has a lightweight platform of about 10,000 pounds with 17-foot (standard) and 12-foot (low overhead) mast options. Alternative mast options include 20-foot (production, 10-foot stroke) and 10-foot (extreme low overhead). Additional options such as standard SRS ML by SonicSampDrill Love is in the Air... penetration test (SPT) auto hammer, water tank, and grout pump are also available. This small sonic rig packs a mighty punch. It’s one of the simplest, smartest, and most economical ways to penetrate soil layers, whether they are dry or sat- urated, clay or gravel.
