It will be January 25-27, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This venue is much easier for exhibitors and attendees to reach. Join the fun! Exhibitors can set up beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, and the Board of Directors Meeting starts at 4:00 p.m. The MWWA hospitality event awaits you! Ever had anyone ask you the same question three times and you know they are not listening? Flying back from a work assign- ment recently, I was sitting next to an idiot who kept complaining we were going to be late. It was thundering and lightning outside, so I asked him to look out the window and tell me what he saw. I said, “If we take off in this crap and then crash, you will miss your meet- ing too.” Come on dude - get a life here! Ever heard anyone complain they have tons of work to do, then spend 13½ hours on Facebook? At a recent trip to a local restau- rant, I watched every couple in the room on their iPhones. Were they talking to each other? Give me a break. And we wonder why people have communica- tion issues! Last week , I overheard a CEO of a major company whining about how bad business was. The person talking to him asked, “Why is business so bad?” He responded that he didn’t know, and he was wondering why. I wonder if he has considered retirement? I was on the phone this week with my Internet provider. Let me rephrase that - I was on hold for 45 minutes. Don’t they know I have other options?
