In Memoriam Thomas Andrew “Tom” Tibor June 9, 1951 - January 23, 2015 Thomas A. Tibor, 63, of Guthrie, Oklahoma, passed away January 23, 2015. He grew up on his family ranch in Beach, North Dakota. After studying for two years to become a veterinary tech- nician, he found his true love - the oil field. Tom began doing mud engineering for several different companies. In the 1970s, he decided to run his own company. When the oil fields dried up in the 1980s, he discovered his passion for selling heavy construction equipment. About ten years later, he began work- ing for Baroid Industrial Drilling Products (IDP), a division of Halliburton Energy Services, Inc., and continued with the company for 20 years. Tom’s hard work, dedication, and vast industry knowledge provided himwith many accomplishments and recognitions. He valued the strong relationships he built with dealership per- sonnel and other HDD (horizontal direc- tional drilling) retailers and contractors in his area. He also enjoyed teaching mud schools and the traveling that went with it. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Shirley; his sons Faron of Parker, Colorado, and Shawn of Guthrie, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Lillian Grace, Logan Reed, and Isabel Mae. Tom was a valued member of the Baroid IDP family and will be truly missed. ~ Lest we forget The WWDR Team will certainly miss his great smile. Our condolences to his family and friends. WWDR photos.
