10 MAY 2015 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® In Memoriam Christopher James “Kit” Morrow Christopher James “Kit” Morrow, 39, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away April 2, 2015. Born in Gainesville, Georgia, Kit was a graduate of Johnson High School and The University of West Georgia. He was a long-time employee of Williams Form Engineering, members of The International Association of Foundation Drilling (ADSC). Kit is survived by his wife Robyn; sons Hayden and Colton; his parents, brother, in-laws, and other extended family. The management and staff of WWWWDDR join the ADSC in extending their deepest sympathies to Kit’s family, friends, and colleagues. The award is a joint initiative carried out with the support of VDMA (German Engineering Federation), HDB (German Construction Industry Association), ZDB (Central Association of the German Construction Industry), BBS (the German Building Materials Association), and bauma. The 31st edition of the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles, and Construction Equipment will take place April 11-17, 2016 at the Messe München Exhibition Center in Munich, Germany. Entries for the bauma Innovation Award can be submitted through August 31, 2015. Those eligible are: exhibitors at bauma, research institutes and research companies, as well as members of the leading associations in the German con- struction industry. Awards are being pre- sented in the following five categories: j Machinery j Components j Construction process/construction work j Research j Design The awards are presented for prom- ising developments which are future- capable, cost-efficient, and offer a high practical benefit which contributes toward energy and resource-efficiency and/or humanization of the workplace. In all categories, the innovations must be relevant to the construction equipment, building material, and mining equipment industry, or to the construction industry and the building material industry. An international jury of representatives from research, industry, and the trade press will nominate three innovations in each category. Nominations will be announced at the bauma Media Dialog in Munich on January 19 and 20, 2016. The presenta- tion of awards to the winners is scheduled to take place on April 10, 2016, as part of the opening ceremony to bauma in Munich.
