Decisions - All decisions have con- sequences - some are positive, some are negative, some are short-term, some are long-term. If you want better outcomes in life, it is essential to revisit and reevaluate your decision process, approach, life philosophy, objectives, desires, and the per- sonal or career guidelines you use to make decisions. Otherwise, learn to accept what life gives you - like it or not - and give up control of your life and future to external situations and/or other people. Action - Do you give more attention, time, energy, resources, and effort to what is urgent or important? Urgent is often the result of avoiding or putting off dealing with or doing what is important. Urgent takes hold of our time, attention, energy, emotions, and resources causing us to often act without awareness, prudence, or maturity. Focusing on what is urgent due to external situations or people who are not within your control (keep in mind there is very little in life we can control) is to let something or someone else rule your life. Obstacles - Sooner or later we all face obstacles in some or often many areas of life. Obstacles give us the opportunity to learn and grow or whine, complain, and often retreat in denial. Obstacles are perceived as anything or anyone that gets in our way or prevents us from achieving our goals, mission, purpose, or objectives. There is nothing you can do to prevent ob- stacles. What you can do is use them as learning tools to get better, smarter, and wiser.
