Take photocopies of your passport (including the page showing your visa) as well. If possible, scan them too and keep a copy with you on a USB stick. e Keep picture of your passport and visa in your phone and e-mail - this will help you in an emergency and also while completing your immigration form at departure and arrival at your destination. e Check your journey and check-in times against a prepared itinerary and reconfirm flight times a couple of days before departure. e Avoid quick changes on flights or trains, especially if you have to wait to reclaim your bags. e Use a flexible ticket if you’re traveling to a higher risk country. e Find out whether you need an international driving permit, and if you do, apply for one in good time. Next month, we’ll discuss medical information. Ashish Ashish Rathi may be contacted via e-mail to michele@worldwidedrillingresource.com 11 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® NOVEMBER 2017
