The reel contains 195 feet of small-diameter, lightweight cable for inspecting long pipe runs, and its water-resistant control unit is housed in a rugged case. Its large touch-pad keyboard allows easy titling and fault annotation, with visibility on the 10.4-inch LCD screen enhanced with a light-shielding cover. Two camera options are available ~ a self-leveling straight view camera, or a pan-and-tilt camera. Both operate in pipes of three inches or larger. An optional steering probe for the pan-and-tilt camera allows for navigation of tight turns, plus various centralizers are available to keep cameras centered in the pipe for clear observation and quality video. Adapted from a Press Release by Eurofor Group’s President, Herve Cohade The Eurofor Group of Chassieu, France, announced its acquisition of the assets of REICHdrill, Inc., a leading manufac- turer of rotary and DTH (down-the-hole) drilling equipment. Since its inception in 1948, by the original founder Wendell Reich, REICHdrill has been supplying quality equipment to the mining, aggregate, and water well industries. This pairs well with the established business developed by the Eurofor Group, and the current REICHdrill clients. For over 40 years, Eurofor has been a respected supplier of drilling accessories and consumables in France and Northwest Africa. Its latest acquisition of TM Bortechnik, an Austrian Manufacturer of articulated DTH machines and drilling attachments, along with the acquisition of REICHdrill, Inc., broadens the product lines offered to their existing customers, and the current REICHdrill customer base. The synergies amongst the group will allow for continued innovation and technological improvements across the entire product lines. REICHdrill will now be offering a full line of equip- ment for the drilling industry in the DTH range from 4 - 12¾ inches.
