13 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® JULY 2019 Donaldson Company to Expand with New Research Center Donaldson Company, Inc. just broke ground on a $15 million Material Research Center at its corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Minnesota. Tod Carpenter, Donaldson’s chairman, president, and chief executive officer said, “The investment in this facility supports our commitment to developing new materials, diversifying with new technologies, and penetrating new markets . . . Donaldson has been a filtration solutions leader for over a century. This Material Research Center will help us maintain that leadership position well into the future.” The company currently holds more than 1800 active U.S. and international patents; has over 100 technical laboratories; employing hundreds of engineers, scientists, and technicians. The new center is scheduled to open in November 2019. He represented the company in the upper Midwest and parts of Canada for several years. Michael Hubert has been pro- moted to outside sales representa- tive. He has been with the company for 16 years and will use his exten- sive knowledge of CME equipment to assist customers in the U.S. Rob Caho is rejoining the Diedrich Drill Team as director of sales and marketing. Rob is vice president of the National Drilling Association. He also served as past chair of the Manufacturers Section Board of Directors for the National Ground Water Association. After more than 43 years in the drilling industry, Hole Products celebrated the retirement of Ron Zobel. His unrivaled expertise in core drilling, rig and equipment parts, understanding customer needs in the field, and his eagerness to help will be greatly missed.
