Yes, as many of you know, I always say 1948 was a great year for me. I’m proud to have been part of your world for 26 years now as you have helped me in more ways than you can ever imagine. I sincerely thank each and every one of you. Our world is constantly changing and it seems it is changing in ways which make us unsure what will be in our futures. But rest assured, you are a strong group of down-to-earth, genuine people. No matter what tomorrow, next week, next month, or even the years to come thereafter bring, you are resilient and will be able to withstand the bad times and make the good times roll again. I have a question to pose to you for “pondering”. So, there is talk on the news in the United states of taxing every dollar over $600 you put into your bank account. Then the taxing continues again for every dollar over $600 USD you withdraw. Now mind you, the way I remember each time I prepare the payroll here at WorldWide, taxes are taken out of payroll checks here for the United States Government to spend on such things as keeping us safe, maintaining our “social security” monies so we have something when we cannot work anymore as we age; medicare to help with medical expenses as we age; and a whole bunch of other things for our own good. We are supposed to continue paying taxes on things we purchase for the states, cities, and towns we live in to improve roads, bridges, education, etc. So now these new taxes, if Washington gets its way, will be yet another tax against many things we have already paid taxes on. Does this seem right to you? It takes me back to the Tea Party Days ~ and seriously I feel like we are being taxed and yet have no representation. Now onto something happy ~ we have been receiving a great many compliments on this new style for WorldWide Drilling Resource®. After deciding to change it up to articles and display advertisements, I was standing at our kitchen counter looking through some magazines, and low and behold, every single one on that counter had articles and display advertisements.
