WorldWide Drilling Resource

10 AUGUST 2022 WorldWide Drilling Resource® A Rig for Compact Engineering and Easy Maintenance Adapted from Information by SIMCO® Drilling Equipment Inc. For more than 30 years, the SIMCO 2800 has provided dynamic solutions for drilling professionals. When big rig power is required in a smaller package to get the job done, the 2800 is a solid and reliable choice. SIMCO has been designing and building state-of-the-art geothermal and water well drilling rigs for over half a century. The company’s rigs are engineered specifically with the customer in mind to include a combination of low maintenance, high dependability, and advanced high-pressure hydraulics systems. The SIMCO 2800 is designed for more compact engineering and easy maintenance. It can easily accomplish drilling requirements while providing access to restricted sites. This rig is capable of drilling bores using rotary drilling, down-the-hole hammers, and casing systems. Along with a strong combination of power and stability, SIMCO’s rigs also come complete with the company’s exceptional service and support. The SIMCO Sales Team was thrilled to have the chance to talk all things drilling at the Second Annual WorldWide DownHome DrillFest™ in Branson, Missouri. The company said they were honored to, once again, set up one of their own rigs. The SIMCO 2800 PTO drive was one of the stars of the show. Ryan Gross and Dave Wagner of the SIMCO Sales Team got to talk shop throughout the conference, getting a feel for the buzz in the industry. “We haven’t talked to anyone who isn’t busy,” said Gross. “Supply shortages and shipping issues have been challenging, but everyone is playing catch-up to complete jobs . . .” The displayed SIMCO 2800 rig proved its tremendous power tucked into an efficient and maneuverable package. Considering the unique features and options available on this drilling rig, it is easy to understand why it is such a great option for drilling professionals. The innovative in/out hydraulic slide base and the 10-foot stroke mast with telescoping tower extension are standard features, plus many other great options. The SIMCO Sales Team makes sure each customer gets the features best suited for their success.
