He was president and CEO of Gulf Coast Pump and Supply for over 44 years, being both tenacious and self-motivated in a creative and inventive way. His natural gift of storytelling and light humor was always present when surrounded by family, friends, and fellow hunting companions. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether playing farmer on the tractor or stalking the trophy buck or bull elk. His generosity was boundless and he would anonymously assist those in need. Mark will be greatly missed by his wife of 47 years, Lisa; sons Christopher (Misti), Dustin (Shelta), and Matthew (Susie); grandchildren Boston, Olivia, and Jack; his father Dale; several siblings; and many nieces and nephews. Eva Ilona Konya (1948~2022) Eva Ilona Konya, wife of Dr. Calvin Konya who passed away in November 2021, left this life on April 17, 2022. Married in 1970, they enjoyed 50 years of marriage. She was a licensed cosmetologist, but began working with Calvin at Precision Blasting Services they founded together in Monteville, Ohio. Eva was also the first secretary for the International Society of Explosives Engineers and was instrumental in developing and growing the organization. She also owned a house in Hungary and helped to develop an emulsion explosive plant, spending several months there each year. She was a licensed pilot and regularly flew the plane they owned. Being the selfless person she was, Eva took in and cared for several of her relatives as they aged, devoting herself to their needs. Eva is survived by her children Judy (Jim), Eva, Anthony, and Ashley; and grandson Triston.
