31 JANUARY 2022 WorldWide Drilling Resource® From My Personal Journal by Tim Connor To start the new year, I thought I’d share a few tidbits from my personal journal. - We are all going to get old, but we don't have to grow old. - You were given a gift today - the gift of life. - If you don't hit the target, it's not the target's fault. - Every day of your life can either be a positive adventure or the same old routine. - Your attitude is your most sacred asset - use it wisely. - Abundance is not about what's available, but what you believe is available. - Action can make up for the lack of education, money, or experience. - Align yourself with like-minded people who can help you succeed. - A simple "thank-you" will make people want to do more for you. - Somewhere, there are people who want to help you. Find them. - Adversity is a teacher. Don't run from it. - Average is a state of mind. It is not a position or an entitlement. - Achievements are stepping stones to greatness. - When you live out of your past, you are in autopilot - not wise. - What you cannot accept in yourself, you will criticize in others. - Keep your eye on the future and your feet in the present. - Every day we move a little closer to death or to life - which is you? - People will help you if you ask and are grateful. - You can “be” or “act” your way in life, but only one brings you peace. - Do what you love and everything else good in life will follow. - Work as if you would live forever; live as if today was your last.
