WorldWide Drilling Resource

39 MARCH 2022 WorldWide Drilling Resource® Money and Prosperity by Tim Connor I know the stress of inadequate funds to handle even the basics of life. I’ve been there, as I’m sure many of you have at one time or other. Maybe you are there now. Generally speaking, money - the excess of it or lack of it - isn’t usually the problem. The problem is often people’s attitudes toward money and its purpose in their life. They deserve it, they don’t deserve it. They’ll do anything to get it or keep it. They need it to look good, feel good, or feel in control. This list is endless. Too many people allow money - regardless of how much they have, spend, or need, to contribute to stress in life. I, for one, am here to tell you that money or the lack of it won’t kill you, but the stress will. And prosperity is not about money. Let me be clear. You can have barely enough money to get by in life, but be surrounded by friends and family who love you, and let me tell you, you are prosperous. You can have more money in the bank than you could ever spend and feel an emptiness inside you because you lack something else your heart yearns for. I am not suggesting the search for wealth is a bad thing, only that true prosperity is more about inner peace and happiness than your bank balance. Now, I know there are those who would disagree with the mindset, saying: “How can you be at peace and happy if you are poor or broke?” Sorry, folks, I can’t answer that in a short article, but let it suffice, scripture does not say: “Money is the root of all evil.” It says: “The love of money is the root of all evil.” Prosperity is about life, and money is just one small part of life. Yes, some would argue you can’t buy health, but it sure helps if you can afford the best doctors, medication, and hospitals. I won’t disagree, but again - if you are healthy but poor of spirit - you decide. In His service, Tim Tim Connor may be contacted via e-mail to michele@worldwidedrillingresource.com
