Various types of sciences, including mental sci- ence, are trying to prove it does or does not work. They claim in science reports that every scientific test ever done has proven the water witching/dowsing meth- ods they tested throughout history do not work, and there is no scientific rea- son why they should work. And when scientists find a way to locate under- ground water, water witchers and dows- ers will largely disappear - this would be thousands of them. Some of these scientific reports were done years ago and nothing seems to have changed. It seems the scientists have no way to test what they don’t know, and the witchers and dowsers do not know enough about what they are doing to teach the scientist how to test them. So this is an interesting posi- tion for both sides. I’ve been a drilling contractor for over 50 years. My background is well drilling. I do the best I can to locate under- ground creeks and rivers so I can get the people what they want. I do my own fluid locating - water (boiling hot, cold, or salt), gas, and oil. I have a good sci- entific reason why what I do works. I made a science out of it years ago, so I say this is not a religion. I do not want you to believe it. This is a science - you either know it or not. If you are interest- ed in a subject, learn or study it. People have been studying this for thousands of years. One reason is it gives off a lot of different widths and thicknesses. Every creek has different chemistry in differing amounts. The vari- ables take forever to get acquainted with, it seems. The question is, “ How do you answer a question when you do not know the question or the problem?” Good luck. I think I have a lot of the scientific answers to the questions. At $12,000, the Driver State Sensor cap- tures and sends a photo of the driver’s expression back to the mine’s dispatch center, where a worker analyzes it for false alarms that may have been caused by squinting. source: ALASKA MINER, September 2012
