Focus on Kentucky Blasting Conference December 11-12 are the dates for the 41 st Kentucky Blasting Conference (KBC). It will once again be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Lexington Center in Lexington, Kentucky. All aspects of the blasting industry are covered in workshops and techni- cal sessions during the two-day event. Specific topics for discussion include blast design, underground blasting, and seismograph use. Blasters from Kentucky can earn their required eight hours of training in a single day. Please check with the regulatory agency in other states for eligibility. The KBC exhibit hall will be open both days so everyone has an opportu- nity to view the products and services on display. There’s also coffee breaks, lunch, and door prizes! WWDR will be available for pickup at the registration area.
