Lest we forget~ 60 FEBRUARY 2015 WorldWide Drilling Resource ® Focus on NEWWA Mark your calendar for another industry networking opportunity ~ the New England Water Well Expo, March 13-14, at the Best Western Royal Plaza Conference Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. In Memoriam Hyrum Dewey Petersen (1938~2014) The Utah Ground Water Association delivered the distressing news of the pass i ng o f Dewey Pe t e r sen on December 13, 2014, after a brief illness. “It is ironic what one remembers when hearing of the loss of a friend such as Dewey. As I read the e-mail after returning from the expo in Las Vegas, while being saddened by it, I had to smile because I met Dewey at one such event years ago, and we became instant friends. It led to the WWDR Team’s first trip to the Utah Conference and Trade Show,” said WWDR Managing Publisher Veronica I. “Ronnie” Jones. As a small child, Dewey grew up working with his dad and brothers in the family water well drilling business. Listen to the presenters’ on-topic advice during the educational seminars beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday. This will be followed by the trade show pre- view. Get a look at all the water well products displays, and be sure to look for the WWDR Team! Afterward, it’s time for family fun night and games ~ enjoy! Saturday, the seminars continue at 8 a.m. The exhibits also open at the same time. Being back in Marlborough last year made everyone enjoy themselves even more. Get registered now!
