We had many dreams as plans began to develop to start this . From that very first trade event in December 2003, in Orlando, Florida, where I was approached by an exhibitor and friend asking us to please put on a trade event, that thought was in our heads. It never left, and today I want to thank that company owner for asking that question, which led the way to this, certainly, one-of-a-kind WorldWide DownHome DrillFest™ . I’m sure if he thinks about it, he will remember. Right Jeff? Fast forward to today, and here we are. Who would have ever thought about Branson, Missouri, and the historical Welk Resort with the stage Lawrence Welk stood on in that vast theatre, to now in 2020, having a drilling event being hosted there by this drilling magazine?
