The “Idiots” Corner by “Billy Bob Smith” Stupid Predictions Two famous folks were seen as visionaries when it came to predicting the future - Nostradamus and Baba Vanga. Here are a couple of their predictions before i share my 2020 predictions with you: 1 in the United States, the strongest tornadoes ever recorded in history will take place in 2020. 1 Nostradamus is believed to have predicted hundreds of years ago how global sea levels would change the world in 2020. 1 From 2020 to 2023, a periodic solar event called a "grand minimum" overtakes the sun (lasting through 2070), resulting in diminished mag- netism, infrequent sunspot production, and less ultraviolet radiation reaching Earth. Here are a few really “out there” predictions from people who i’m sure want to stay in the shadows: j World's first robot Olympics will be held in Japan. j We'll have ape chauffeurs instead of Uber. j We'll live in flying houses. j We'll finally make it to mars. j Everyone will be a vegetarian. Now, here are mine: a Alexa will control 75% of people’s lives. a Driverless cars will cause insurance rates to skyrocket. a Cell phones will get small again. a Funeral parlors will conduct services in your home. a Robots will start to have relationships with other robots. a The weather in Florida will be hot this summer. a Traffic in major cities will get worse.
