Review of well history and construc- tion to determine construction issues which may not be readily apparent in the well video, and gain valuable clues as to what may be happening outside the well screen. 4. Determine problems affecting the well which can be a single issue or any combination of biofouling, incrustations, silt plugging, corrosion, etc. 5. Design the solution to address the specific problems which will be a recipe for each individual well to address the specific problem impacting that well. 6. Implement the solution, which is the part of the process requiring good coordination and communi- cation with the well owner, con- tractors, and consultants. 7. Test and verify the success of rehabilitation, which is usually done through a video log and a pumping test. 8. Maintenance is an often over- looked follow-up to well rehabilitation and usually involves a light chemical application once per year to extend the period between rehabilitations. By working together as a team, the consultant and contractor can deliver cost- effective solutions that can keep wells operating at peak performance for many years to come.
